Systems Engineer / DevOps

Nexus is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Systems Engineer / DevOps.

Must have:
– Experience with CI/CD and other automation tools and methods. Preferably GitLab
– Experience with Infrastructure as code. Preferably CloudFormation
– Experience working with cloud native technologies.
– Knowledge of protocols: DNS, HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP.
– Familiarity with Issue Tracking/Project tracking/Documentation solutions: Jira, Confluence, etc.
– Experience with one of the monitoring systems: CloudWatch, Nagios, Prometheus, New Relic, Data Dog, etc.
– Experience with one of the logging systems: ELK, Splunk, etc.

Nice to have:
– knowledge of server hardware and hyper-converged systems: Dell/HP servers, Dell VxRail/HP Simplivity.
– Knowledge of cloud services AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, EKS, etc.)
– Knowledge of Linux: CentOS, Debian, etc.
– Knowledge of Web/Proxy: NGINX, HaProxy.
– Experience with configuration automation and infrastructure provisioning tools: CF, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.
– Knowledge of Dockers/Kubernetes/Swarm.
– Knowledge of source code management: Git, Gitlab, BitBucket, GitHub, etc.

The preferred location for this position is Tbilisi, Georgia, however remote work is welcomed as well.
